Credits pay for the AI models that build and change your apps. Each message costs what its model used, and the Factory shows the credits a new app and a change typically take on each model before you send. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
Every month on the day you bought your plan, on annual plans too.
On Pro and Business, at $10 for 1,000 credits. Bought credits last 12 months while you have a plan, and the credits that expire first are used first. Auto-reload buys them with your card when they run low, as often a month as you allow.
From Plan & billing in the Factory's account menu. Business starts the same day with its full credits, the unused part of Pro is subtracted from the first payment, and your workspace becomes your team, with its apps and chats. Moving to a smaller plan, cancelling, or switching from annual to monthly billing takes effect when the paid period ends; switching from monthly to annual starts the annual period at once, with the unused month subtracted.

As many as you invite. Business has no seats; everyone in the team shares its credits and apps.
They are suspended when it ends, since no credits pay for them then, and keep their database; see the privacy notice for when they are deleted.
